that depends on provider and your location.
Spark have UFB 100 in some areas, Orcon and Slingshot have the same among others.

Positive.. everyone on the 30mbit plan got a free upgrade to 100mbit at the $89 price. It might have only been done for existing customers and not available now, hence why it doesn't have it on the website.
Discussion on the upgrade

Edit: according to the last post on that discussion everyone that signs upto the 30mbit is still getting upgraded to 100.

a bit disappointed about the price

also the upload speed is 20 Mbs, rather than 50 Mbs from back of my head

I'm reasonably happy with 30/10, I wouldn't mind 100/20 but I'm too cheap to shell out another $16 for what seemingly little benefit to us, maybe $10 max.

The UFB wholesale price for 100/20 is less than 100/50.  Orcon still offer 100/50 if you want to pay for it.

I am thinking of switching up to the new 100/20 plan as $15 extra per month isn't bad. Only pity is that you can't do the speed change from the website, have to phone, bugger.

I have recently done the phone change thing. It's not traumatic. I think you will cope! They picked up in about 15 sec after I punched in a couple of 1's. All smooth as.

So am I.  It'll be interesting to see what the other ISPs do -- offer a faster base plan, or charge for any extra speed above 30/10.  I imagine the former will become more prevalent over time as it lets them compete on something other than price, and compete with VDSL.  I'm so close to the cabinet I suspect VDSL would be faster than 30/10 UFB for me :-(

Isn't the new 100/20 plan over provisioning so its actually about 106Mbps/23Mbps so that speed tests show 100/20
