I am currently overseas for an extended period. My current phone is dying and I will either replace it with an LG G3 or HTC One M8. With different variants of both available, I am trying to figure out which version is sold by 2deg, (or at least, which is compatible). I assume that the HTC carried by 2deg is the Asia version on gsmarena htc one m8

For the LG G3, is it the D855 model? The specs on the 2deg website don't seem to match any of those at gsmarena lg g3

I would be grateful if anyone with these phones could confirm. I need to buy this soon, waiting until I return to NZ isn't an option...

Thanks!

Provided the GSM Arena details are correct you want the EMEA/Asia version of the HTC One M8 or the LG G3 D855. These models will support any NZ network as well as 4G.

2degrees are selling the 16GB D855 model.

Another option for you is to go to Pricespy and enter the phone model and you'll see the list of retailers selling it. When you see places like Vodafone, Noel Leeming, Harvey Norman, etc, selling that model then you know you're looking at the right one.
