Yeah, my apartment's connection has been choppy since yesterday evening. Thought it was a one off hiccup. 150ms to TF2 servers when normally 30~ms.  I'm on VDSL 50.

I meant to say it was bad yesterday and it just flared up again a few minutes ago. Its like a habit of mine to zip by geekzone to see if its just me thanks to a traumatizing year subbed to Slingshot.

I was getting some very flaky Hulu performance for about 5 minutes, so I decided to force a DSL reconnect and it came back just fine. And the time just so happened to be... 10:37pm.

I must have got real lucky with my timing, because I was just about sure that the resync had fixed things. Either that, or my poor little VDSL 36/10 connection was somehow screwing up the network for everyone! foot-in-mouth

Hi All,

Yes there as a short DDOS attack on the network last night, it impacted performance for a very short time. Automated systems picked this up and dealt with the offender(s) restoring normal service.

Thanks,
TheRalph
