Arranged to go from 30/10 Unlimited to the new plan of 100/20 Unlimited. I got the text from Orcon yesterday just after lunch saying switch has been completed. I am guessing that it means they have passed the request onto Chorus.
What I am wondering is what is the average time for the change to take place? I am in Dunedin and have done a ONT & Modem reboot in case it was required.
Using speedtest.orcon.net.nz I am averaging 27/8.5Mbps speeds which is what I am use to seeing. Have done a restart on everything and unplugged everything apart from my main computer and reran the test. Got similar speed result.
For anyone's benefit, "completed" means the LFC have told us work is complete so the speed upgrade, connection or change should work from that time. If it doesn't please respond to the team so they can look into it and resolve the issue.
