So I'm asking this on behalf of, my mother is getting basically her first smartphone and obviously doesn't want to go expensive so I decided to steer her towards the moto G (gen 2) and she done the sign up etc today and got the "thanks for ordering email" after setting up the plan etc etc (to which it said everything was fine)

Anyway I was messing round on the site looking at other phones and added the moto G (gen 2) to my cart and got an out of stock error message.

Now I figure if it is out of stock that's understandable and she'll no doubt receive an email tomorrow or next day saying exactly that but when I added it again (just messing round) it didn't give any such error, so I figure I'd try asking here so when she no doubt rings me confused about any email she receives (if so) I can at least steer her right.

Also what's a typical order/shipping take to hit the Lower South Island from the online store? (roughly obviously) since again I'll no doubt receive a phone call about that if it takes more than a day...*sighs*

Hi, sorry for the late response. Yes, if it doesn't appear in the online store it will be OOS.

No problem at all, it's all sorted and shes up and running now.

The main confusion came from the fact that the way she put the phone in the cart it actually let her go through with the order process but as the lady I spoke to this morning said she couldn't actually find the order number that she was given at all (guess because it was out of stock?) so we wouldn't have been notified (well this is how I understand it)

So perhaps there is a wee bug in the online store? not to sure but either way our issue is 100% solved now but thought I'd mention this incase you wanted to check into it to prevent confusion for anybody else in the future.

OK, if possible can you PM us the order number and your mum's so we can check on what happened?

Thanks

So the "out of stock" phone turned up in the mail today, which is making us laugh a bit.

But confused on what to do now!
