Hi All

I've originally logged the ticket for a new Fibre connection 2 months ago now (apparently my area is fibre-only).
Although staff and fielded my calls was extremely helpful it seems the holdup is on Chorus’ end.

I’ve just got off the phone with a Slingshot Connections rep who have spoken to the Chosurs Fibre Team but she was basically told to re-submit order.

The order have been submitted 4-5 times already but no outcome.
I’ve even emailed through several documents, which included the exact Map for the property, Code of Compliance Certificate – with pre-subdivision Lot and DP numbers and Land Title of the property issued on settlement date which contains ALL the Lot and DP Numbers of the properties surrounding that area however that too was rejected by Chorus.

I’ve also provided examples of neighboring property with their Fibre connection successfully set up (Unit 2 + Unit 3) as, they currently have their Fibre connection setup successfully so is it that difficult to just lookup those existing properties and setup the connection there?

I’ve been extremely patient about this but 2 months for a new connection is too long!
Happy to stand outside my house to show them where exactly the fiber manhole is located if that’s ever going to help.

Hey OP,

that doesn't sound like a good time. Are you able to flick me a message with your account number and I'll see if there's anything I can do.

Cheers,
Chris
