Is the QoS for the "Low Latency via Custom Routing" in the gaming package require the included router.  I'd consider the idea of the package, but I'd be bringing my own router.

Why does the "quote" button not appear for topic starters sometimes?

You can bring your own router.   So long as it's sufficiently powerful for a fast connection, it will work.  One of the reasons we recommend the included router is that there are plenty out there with fast interfaces that can't get to 1/50th of interface speed before having problems.

Whinery: Why does the "quote" button not appear for topic starters sometimes?

Because we had cases of people quoting the entire topic in the first reply, and the reply was just a single word. That makes very hard for people to read. People complained, we listened. The quote button only appears after a few replies are posted.
