Just bought a new Modem. Internet is working with old Modem but this Modem will authenticate with Slingshot. Settings are as per Slingshot help desk. The line shows up but no authentication. I must reiterate when i plug old modem in everything is sweet. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

if the DSL is happily connecting, sounds like you simply have the Authentication setup wrong..

Have you tried checking your entering the correct details with the call centre?

Everything has been checked with callcentre. It is very strange and I have reset the modem and entered the setup info again still no joy.
