Is someone able to clarify this for me?  We are on a 24 month contract at the moment.  We were originally on a 80GB  $75 now upgraded to $90 with a total of 200GB.  Does it mean we can pay $10 more on our $75 and get unlimited?

The special only enables for new plans and new 24m contracts.

Thanks.  Someone gave them a ring.  As we are already on a 24 month contract, they can further extend it for another 24 months.  Ours finishes around mid 2015.

Hi rayonline

Yep, this promo is available to existing customers as well, as we wanted to look after you guys and not just focus on new customers.

We'll be proactively contacting our existing cusomter base over the next few weeks to let them know of the deal.

Cheers
Ralph

Thanks Ralph. Will this require a 24m contract renew?

Just to confirm - is the 24 month extension from date of agreeing to the extension, or from the end of the current contract? Thanks.

Hi jonathan18

The 24 months is from the date of the extension ie when you take up the new promo.

Cheers
Ralph

I just tried to sign up ... but on the webpage I can only choose new customer or transfer.  Can I not choose existing customer?  Also when I choose UFB and then 30Mbps speed the $10 unlimited doesn't come up.  Pleae advise.

Also what happens with the router?  As a current customer I could just keep my current Fritz (the cheaper model),  is it also possible to upgrade to the higher model one?

I'm on a 100/50 plan at the moment with a data pack. Can I dump the data pack, get unlimited and stay at 100/50 or do I need to move to 100/20?

Thanks Ralph.

Do you think there will be a change to the friends and family bonus, given there are lots of unlimited users now?

That's exactly why I went with Bigpipe. Being locked in to a 24 months contract and paying $26* per month more, didn't appeal.

* Based on the assumption that Bigpipe implements static IP addressing with a one-off charge as they have proposed.

Was very happy to sign up on the new deal. Was paying the $95 for 30/10, 200gb and unlimited youtube, now paying the same for 100/20 and unlimited data.

Have been very happy with my snap connection for the last 12 months or so (whenever it was UFB started), see no reason to change.

Good on snap for remembering their existing customers

What's stopping me is the contract, otherwise I'd take them up on it.

Hi JayADee

Can I ask why?

We think we've got a few runs on the board where if plans have been improved or new offers come out then we pass those options through to existing customers. We also try to be really accomodating around things like plan upgrades (eg move from DSL to fibre, no new term required), or move addresses (no new term required).

Cheers
Ralph
