Just signed up with 2 degrees and keep getting marketing texts.  I can't find in their privacy policy where they say they will share my number with third parties and they haven't answered that part of my query.  Nor can I opt out of receiving them globally but am meant to respond to them individually.  No-one has this number apart from my partner who has never used it, so I certainly haven't shared it with anyone.  Doesn't encourage me to continue using them.

I never get any and I suspect there would be outrage if it was a widespread problem so I suspect your situation is unique. Maybe someone else has accidentally used your number somewhere?

If this is a recycled number (a number that's been returned to the pool after being disconnected for a while) you could be receiving messages subscribed by the previous user...
