As per subject, is there anyway to get more than 80GB of data on the 30/10 plan?
It used to be an option until the next size up was 200/20.

I am still a long way from convincing the owners of the house I live at, that fibre is not the devil and having a small box hidden behind the cabinet is not going to destroy the wall. Anyone got any tricks to convince the older generation of the benefits of fibre

We see the entry level 30/10 as just that - entry level. For only $10 extra you can move to the 100/20 - where you then have greater data options.

Feel for those of us stuck on ADSL2+ sitting on speeds a lot slower than 'entry level'

but its not that, they want extra data, if you move to 100/20 it costs you an extra $10 per month for the SAME amount of data, its actually costs you an extra $14 onto of that to get the higher 150GB download cap so in essence it costs you $24 per month for 70GB more data, and a higher download/upload speed that you dont necessary want.

yes its entry level, but those older people (grand parents, parents etc) and some budget conscious people don't need the 100/20 speed, they are happy with the 30/10 but want more data to go with it. these people arent the ones who go out needed what they download now, they are happy to wait a little longer to get something and in all honesty they are probably surprised how fast they get it anyways.

just my thoughts on the matter, you dont need to just cater for the gamers/geeks out there

You can't, they have removed the slider for this pack.

You can only purchase additional data, which is more expensive

I'm on Snap 30/10 UFB, logged into my account here. There's an "add data pack" link that works for me, pops up a box that lets me add data. I haven't tried it because I don't need more data.

I did however either forget (or it has been added again) that 100/20 is an option, which is very tempting as its only $2 more than I currently pay for ADSL with the promotion.

Agree however with Jase2985 - my current ADSL sync of around 12 down is fast enough for me, the attractiveness of fibre is the upload speed of which 10 is 10x better than what I have now.
30/10 with at least 150GB + unlimited between 1-7am really does suit me and keeps my costs down.

There seems to be two types of data packs on Snap
Ones you purchase every month (my ADSL is upgraded by 100GB every month for $15) and then there is the data you purchase when you just need a little more, which does not renew each month and is more expensive.

I expect on old 30/10 plan you can purchase both types
On the new 30/10 plan you can only purchase the non renewing/more expensive plan

Based on what I can see anyway
