Unsure when this started but two people i know received this text today, though their combo renewed last week. I haven't seen it on mine which renews
in a couple of weeks.

Cant find any references to this anywhere except for two tweets.

Added some detail to my first post - im not sure on that. Their plan didn't renew today.

Also i'm wondering if i can force a renew of my combo now. Their site says:

If you want to unsubscribe simply text 'STOP 19carry' to 233, or do it online at Your 2degrees. You’ll still get to use any minutes, texts or data remaining, until the Combo expires.

So i won't lose my data. But if i then buy it again, will it give me a whole new combo (and this bonus?), or just make it renew in 1-2 weeks time like it usually would?

I didn't get a text but got an email about it: "Get bucket loads of free data this Summer!"

T & Cs say 1GB will be credited within 7 days of topping up but I got the confirmation about 15 minutes after.

Thank you 2 Degrees, I ported my number from Vodafone earlier this year and very happy with the service so far :)

Can you post the full text of the email?

One friend who got it topped up and had their plan renew last week.
The other hasnt topped up or had their plan renewed since the start of the month - so greater than 7 days for sure.

I'm not seeing any consistency here...

I got a text this morning saying "Awesome! You now have an extra 1GB of Carryover data for free (valid 12 months). Buy a $19 Combo again next month to get another 1GB free (offer ends 31/01/15)". My rollover isn't for another week and a half.

Got this text this morning, renewed combo about 5 days ago.
Will be glad to have the extra data as I'm currently using a data pack every second month so not worth upgrading to a plan, but also not enough data on the current offering.

Yeah, Skinny is only doing an extra 500mb, while 2deg is doing an extra 1gb

It's carry over data too, 1GB times 3 months is equivalent to an extra 250MB per month if you spread it over the year...

Hey 2D's, If this is correct, I have auto pay on the 1st and auto top up on the 4th of every month and no free GB has been added to my account. I look forward to it arriving before next month
