I was looking at the 'Daily Breakdown' on my VDSL connection with Snap today, and noticed something odd. The wife/kids have been hammering Youtube for the last few days yet only 0.23G counted for 'Free Youtube'. I don't think the data is being counted against 'Regular Download' instead, but hard to tell as I don't have any independent way of measuring the non-youtube usage.

Anyone else notice inconsistencies ?

I didn't even know if they were still offering this? Have you looked into their Unlimited plans?

i felt the metering to be a little iffy sometimes, but never cared to actually work out did i use that on youtube or not?

i simply happily paid for more data than i would use in the daytime period.

Weirdest instance was when i mirrored a ftp server for a game in china, about 2/3rds of all the data i pulled came under free youtube.

When i was uploading videos (i used to push 1440P videos out so it was noticable on the graph) it sometimes counted, sometimes didnt.

So, while i noticed inconsistency i never had an issue where i felt "robbed" hell, i even never got around to taking the free youtube addon off when i switched to unlimited...

The graph seems a bit odd for me too, For the last two weeks, a couple of peak days @ >20GB and then minimal amounts for a couple of days, the regular traffic doesn't spike instead though. Last month on the other hand where the YouTube dips, the regular goes up a bit. Nothing to make me worry at this stage though.

My graph is definitely odd this month, Oct and Nov averaging 130GB on Youtube, this month is reporting only 10GB which is not right for sure.
Not so much a worry if the Youtube measurement is wrong, just hope it isn't counting towards my regular data cap.
Hope normal service resumes next month as with my boys on holiday it will be thrashed.

I'm in the same boat as you altho it does not bug me as much, looked at last month and the months before and averaged to around 125 GBs for youtube. Whereabouts this month it says I have only used 11 GBs in total so something is off.

I still refuse to go to their unlimited plans because... well.. I like to make sure I get a good experience all around.

I can't seem to access the breakdown any more, website just sits 'loading'
Don't seem to be using much date either - in October I used 130GB (out of 150), while in November I used 34Gb without changing my usage pattern,
