My Genius Go app has stopped working since I upgraded to Android 5. Calls come in but I cannot answer and the person at the other end hears nothing but ring tone until it times out.
This is a real pain and I had similar problems with Android 4.4
Can Orcon please fix so that it works with Android 5.x. With 5.0.2  now being pushed out this is going to affect most people with decent Android phones.

Looking at the reviews on the google play store I suspect they've given up on this. It's a shame really, because it was a great idea.

I agree. In my case the App is not even communicating / linking to my phone line and when I try it on another phone running android version 4.1 it works fine. I have spoken to the support guys in manila and they have walked me through all the troubleshooting and in the end have referred me to contact my phones manufacturer. lol. Something seriously wrong with the Genius go app.. which is very frustrating.

The issue has been noticed on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat and 5.02 - Lolipop

There have been a lot of apps around that haven't worked from 4.4.4 onwards because they can't detect a network connection due to being badly coded.

Other examples of this include the MyVodafone app and the Domino's Pizza offers app.

Hi All,

In order to quell any rumours ... we are aware of this and to my knowledge will be getting it fixed in the near future.

I'll see if we can get something out to make CSRs etc aware of it.

Thanks

Dan
