Received a note saying my old $2 AYCE service will be retired and automatically migrated across to $5 a month. Damn, I'll have to re evaluate whether I should move to Unlimited now, is that their plan!

I'm surprised they're even retaining the service at all given that unlimited is now much more accessible, but with 100-200GB a month being zero rated, it is handy to know the YouTube consumption habits of a flatmate won't trip us down to "dial up" speed.

I should note, I'm not too bothered, but was surprised by the email none the less. Perhaps it will lead me to consider an unlimited plan, they're not too much more now after all.

Yea, I got the note as well, a bit surprised, snap isn't known for retiring something that people use...

Like you I might have to re-evaluate as well...

At the moment I pay $87 a month for vdsl with 200GB and AYCE, dunno if it will be worth it or not.
