Just accepted new carrier settings on iphone6.

Under celluar data the LTE on off has been replaced with 4G toggle on off.

Switch 4G on but its only showing 3G at top of screen, at the location I'm at LTE use to show on screen before update.

Why can I no longer access the faster data?

Edit, i took it off the charger and it changed to 4G. Plugged it back in and it's stayed on 4G.

Was on charger when settings updated. Strange.

Not strange. Old story: have you tried turn it off and on again?

Perhaps taking off the charger changed something. But once new settings are installed it's a good idea to disconnect from the network, either by turning device off/on or switching flight mode.

I powered it completely down and rebooted it, before posting. It still only connected to 3G.

It was when I unplugged it, took about 1 step with phone and 3G then changed to 4G.

I've plugged phone back in, put it in it's original location and it's still showing 4G, so either unplugging it, or having the phone in motion fixed it, or it just needed longer time to sort itself out.

Yes they still havnt updated the carrier setting to have an option to toggle between 2g and 3g. Many area when the signal fades out it goes to "E" and more juice finding a 3g then 4g signal all causing battery drain.
