My router is asus rt-n56u.

After i changed some settings in the router, it won't let me log into the router again, but sometimes it's working.

the message came up as below,

Settings have been updated. Web page will now refresh.
Changes have been made to the IP address or port number. You will now be disconnected from RT-N56U.
To access the settings of RT-N56U, reconnect to the wireless network and use the updated IP address and port number.

Anyone got any idea?

Connect to the ASUS with a network cable rather than trying to set up via wifi.

Once it is all working fine, then try connecting via wifi.

Sounds like the encryption or some other wifi setting is giving you some general connection instability which is manifesting itself as issues with logging into the modem.

I had this issue.

After googling I found the firmware needed upgrading to fix.

Pretty easy to do once you get logged in ( a restart of router will allow this) and issue has certainly been fixed afterwards.

The current firmware I'm running is 3.0.0.4.376_3637

Have had no login issues with this one.

I had the exact same issue, I also updated the firmware and no issues so far.

I had to set mine up again. Would pay to record settings.
