What is the plan for Netflix going forward?

Netflix is officially coming to New Zealand in March and by the looks of it the experience is going to be heavily nerfed (missing movies, tv shows etc). Is Orcon planning to continue providing access to US Netflix or will it automatically switch to NZ Netflix?

Don't want to get caught out with a sub that I can't cancel.

Good question as to how they will global mode a 'local' service (come March anyway).
But doesnt netflix only charge month by month? So how would you get caught with a sub you cant cancel?

If you look hard there are a few free dns unblockers that support Netflix USA - or you could pay several dollars a month and subscribe to one of the paid for services if they dont give global mode some flexibility.

I am mostly worried that Netflix will separate Subscriptions somehow, so they can charge New Zealand double what they charge me for US Netflix now.

If you are going to sign up for the first time via Netflix NZ you will likely pay a higher local rate. However if you already have a US account, no reason anything should change.

They don't do that between US, UK, Canada etc so why would they suddenly start with NZ?
