I usaully get a ping/latency of around 25ms to an auckland server and 46ms to Aus but now in the last 3 weeks that has doubled now when I play cs go I get a 76ms ping instead of my 45ms. I have my computer connected by cable, since its happened I have tested on three different computers so its not that tryed another modem and factory reset the one I use all the time and up dated firmware Same results no good . Help please
I think the title is a bit confusing, referring to a latency drop, but in your post the latency has increased. I presume the latter is the actual case. From the numbers it looks like it still falls well within what could be 'normal' limits, possibly the ISP have had some route changes? Sorry, maybe someone else can offer something more useful on that front.
After having slingshot look into this they txt me saying its all fixed but nothing has change when I replied to this they said they wont be doing anything about it. Sling shot service is a joke. I pay as much as a person getting fibre but get a fraction of the actual service is beyond me . Slingshot hang your head in shame give me my latency back I play CSGO daily and for my ping to double because of my provider is so disheartening surely this breaks all kind of consumer rights .....

Consumer rights for a "best efforts" internet service is whatever is available. If you want some minimum performance specs then its a completely different type of product, generally used for businesses since its quite expensive.
Have you tried switching off your modem for at least a minute before restarting?
