Anyone else experiencing this?

I whitelist certain domains and Mail Guard keeps unwhitelisting them.

a friend of mine today has been having emails to her Orcon address bounced back to different senders - one particular error email was saying "gmail.com" was blacklisted.

WTF.

Anyone else been having recent issues with Orcon Mail Guard?

I was wondering why my main email account was suddenly getting a lot less emails and for some reason they'd blocked

  • Facebook
  • LinkedIn
  • Air NZ
  • Dick Smith
  • Warehouse
I haven't changed any of my personal preferences for quite some time, and this only occurred in the last 2-3 weeks.

Just checked now and even though I've whitelisted the above they are still being blocked by mailguard.

I was going to answer saying my white list was fine, but just checked my email and emails from 4 white listed domains were blocked. Was fine until today.

Looks like the issue might be SPF records.

I have a personal domain hosted at 1st domains that fowards to my orcon email address.

All outgoing emails go via Orcon and that appears to work correctly.

Looks like the Orcon email servers don't like getting forwarded emails with SPF set.
