So I logged into my Fritzbox today, to see this on the dashboard:

My Fritzbox is not set up with VOIP, so why is it showing missed calls?!

My pick would be bots trying SIP connections against it.

Just seems strange to me that the box responds and records those attempts at all when there is no SIP account set up. But I guess its a port thing?

I've run around the bush several times trying to get to the bottom of this Fritzbox issue, and in the end I gave up. It seemed to only affect my Fritzbox on POTS connections, but not ethernet connections (i.e. UFB)

What seems quite interesting though, Snap claim that when I switched to UFB that TR69 would have sent out the correct config to stop the phantom calls. Last year I switched to Spark UFB and the phantom calls still didn't come through, but weirdly when I moved house and had to switch back to ADSL, the phantom calls started coming back immediately after connecting to ADSL. From my testing, it doesn't seem to be related to the ISP you are connecting to, but instead what mode (i.e. ADSL/VDSL or UFB)

I think it is likely a bug with the Fritzbox, but I have no idea why it happens when using the POTS line instead of ethernet connections. I gave up trying to diagnose, and just used another router.

I've had the same problem. As far as I can tell it's due to the Fritz!Box picking up what it thinks is a ring on the phone line. Unfortunately it logs it and any phones connected to the Fritz!Box ring even if you have the fixed line disabled. Only solution I've been able to find is to set up a voicemail on the Fritz!Box and forward all fixed line calls to that (we have Naked DSL).
