Just wondering if anyone from 2D can advise as to whether the Lollipop update for the MotoG LTE version XT1039 is being tested as the Motorola site says that the device will get it with 'Carrier Support'?

i think that's just motorolla trying to give an out for their delayed upgrade to lollipop.

it's rather frustrating, but i read that there were a few issues with lollipop on the non-4g moto g's.  so maybe it's a good thing?  i wouldn't be surprised if 5.1 comes out with no 5.0

samsung haven't even updated my tablet to 4.4.4 yet. .. (sitting on 4.4.2) .. and 4.4.4 was fast for motorolla.

2degrees still haven't updated my area to 4g, so having a 4g phone hardly helps :(

i kind of figured all of auckland would be done by now.  curiously looking at maps, most of auckland /is/ done, except where i live, where i used to live, and a few other places.

It's coming as the Motorola update service has recently been updated which is the precursor to the actual Android update. When is anyone's guess

Motorola has publicly confirmed that the reason why these don't have 5.0 yet is they delayed it so they could jump straight to 5.1.

@eXDee - perchance could you please direct me to a link where a Motorola representative or press release outlines that approach?
I can only see a wee post on the Motorola Mobility G+ profile on 3rd April:

Is that what you are referring to ?

Hi all

Sorry for being late to the party. No updates at this stage as this build has not yet been confirmed or submitted to us for testing.

Cheers,
