has anyone had an issue with this?
I don't have any other .nz TLD's to try, but I registered a new one yesterday, and it works from every connection, except any device connected to my Snap VDSL connection... Very strange.

wjw: I have a .nz and .uk, both work fine over my Snap DSL, I'm using 202.37.101.1 and 202.37.101.2 as my resolvers
Peppery: How long since registration did you try access it? If you try visit it before it's fully resolved then Snap may be caching the DNS response. You'll simply have to wait in this instance.
wjw: trying pinging mx1.wjw.nz
Okay, so that pings, no issues.
wjw: have you tried doing a manual nslookup? see if it produces an error?
sorceror: instead of calling support you should do some reading - it's impossible for a DNS server to treat certain TLDs differently, that's just not how the system works.
what would've happened is that the Snap server would've cached the NS record for your domain from one of the nsX.dns.net.nz servers which are authoritative for the .NZ zone - the default TTL on these records is 86400 seconds (24 hours).
sorceror: that's only if you're changing the NS record for the entire domain at the registrar - this shouldn't be something that you do often.
you can still have low TTL's for A records MX records etc
