The legal challenge to Global Mode services in NZ seems to be moving ahead. Already two minor ISPs have disabled their GM services in response to the pressure, and arguably Orcon switched it off-by-default in response as well.

The NZ broadcasters (TVNZ, MW, Sky) have said they are dragging BNSL (the wholesaler of GM service to ISPs) to court, but BNSL don't have the resources to fight the case. Will CallPlus help defend this case? Will CallPlus be sued too? Will CP defend that case if it comes?

Here's a good summary on nzreddit posted earlier: http://www.reddit.com/r/newzealand/comments/31umaw/global_mode_discussion_latest_news/
