Flip entered the VDSL market today.

To ensure the best experience and keep it simple, we've decided Unlimited Broadband Data is the best play.

$85 p/m for Naked

$95 p/m for Clothed

No contract.

You can either BYO or buy a VDSL modem off us for $95 incl courier costs.

Existing customers can upgrade via our My Account portal. Just click the upgrade button and pick a plan.

I'm around for the next couple of hours if you have any questions.

I have checked the address checker for 16 Cowley Drive, Temple View Hamilton and Flip says I can not get VDSL with Home Line, they can only offer Naked ADSL.
I used to have ADSL plus Home Line with flip here, I currently get Naked VDSL however this is through an ADSL main splitter, were about 25-30m from Box too.
We are not due for a fiber roll out anytime soon here either.
So can someone help us with VDSL plus Home Line or not

If it says we can't provide service then we can't do anything sorry.

Is this on Chorus equipment or your own unbundled equipment?

It's on Chorus

Hi Scott, I am really confused here and it is other ISP's can apparently offer VDSL here in Temple View except the following

2talk.co.nz
slingshot.co.nz
Callplus.co.nz
snap.co.nz - indeterminate

As I said earlier, I already receive VDSL, so the question is why can I not get it with flip, is it because Chorus is not playing ball or what or do you offer your services through your own unbundled equipment.

An address check shows that VDSL+ is here, but Fibre is elsewhere.

regards
Rick

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Your address most likely came through as inconclusive. This means it might not work, and cause service disruption while troubleshooting goes on.

We've had a look at this and decided this is not a process we want customers to go through as it's painful for you, and expensive for us.

Some other providers have decided to "roll the dice" as it were regarding VDSL installs.

So what your saying is that even though there have been no issues previously with VDSL out here, in other words Flip has no interest in providing a service here.
I have heard some rubbish in my time and this appears to be a cop out.
