Have to say im very disappointed in my dealings with Snap.
I signed up for UFB end of last month and still waiting 23 days later to get a connection.

I already have UFB installed and simply wanted to sign up with Snap as i had heard good things about them.

The last email i received from them this week wanting yet more info that should have been asked within the first 5 days of my connection request....was replied with "you have until the end of this week to make it happen".....and still no reply.

So this morning I rang them again but to cancel and I will go with another ISP. To add insult....Snap want me to pay to send the modem back (at first).

Sorry Snap....but its a "sad" face from me. Honestly....how long does it take to get a UFB ISP connection....when you already have UFB sitting here not being used?

Rant over

Trust me it can take Chorus ages to sort a connection even if there is already a router. I once had to wait 2mo for one through a business ISP because Chorus forgot they even installed an ONT.

Snap are great though and you should give them a chance. They monitor these forums and will likely get in touch with you.

If you already have UFB installed,  then it should be a matter of a couple of days to get up and running (or however long it takes them to courier their router to you)

23 days is terrible.

Which LFC region are you in (i.e. which city?)

Tauranga
Have been told 5 - 15 days...a few times by Snap....so i expected it within that time.
Thought it would be a nice easy job for them when I told them UFB is already installed.
