So just went to sign up with MyRepublic,

Had a screen shot from an advert in April saying get an apple tv and 30 bucks iTunes (they made a note on my account so i could still be eligible, as i couldnt sign up straight away)

Tried to get them to agree with the offer but they are trying to charge an additional $14.05 a month. Not paying an additional $337.20 (14.05x24 months) for a supposed free apple TV. Cheaper just to buy one outright.

Can someone point out where i am reading the current offer wrong? When something is free, how can it cost more? Costs an extra deposit of $50, no router discount and additional charges per month.

Ask them to put it in writing as to why they are not honouring it. I suspect the person you are speaking to lacks any knowledge on the offer, so it is likely you need to escalate to management.

Those look like two separate offers by the looks. One you get the Apple TV and iTunes credit, the other a discount of a router. Also from a look on the website you also get the router for free on the one where you get the Apple TV.

24 month contract? If you're willing to sign up for that long, they should at least give you the router for free. I'm tempted to sign up with https://voyager.nz/friends when my 12 months with MyRepublic are up...

pretty sure the $94/month option also includes free voice line whereas the other one is $10/month extra

Not really free if it costs more per month is it? I'm sure the Commerce Commission would be interested.
Hopefully it is an advertising fail (or the one on the right includes phones or something).
