Just bought a phone from 2 degrees today and was told that it should only take a moment for the sim in my old phone to stop working and for my new one to start working. Obviously has been a few hours so I was wondering how long it should take. Both phones are 2 degrees phones.

i don't understand.

normally you remove the sim from the old phone and put into new phone.

if it doesn't fit and they transfer you number to a micro/nanosim it takes 1 second to transfer.

The 2 times I've done this with 2degrees recently the first time took just a few minutes and the second time took between 10 and 15 minutes.

Get in touch with 2degrees as something has gone wrong with the SIM swap.

Hey Sodaboy,

The switch over to your new SIM should be close to immediate.

Can you please PM us your new SIM's number and your mobile number so we can check it out? Alternatively give us a call on 0800 022 022 :)

Cheers,
^ER
