I lost ADSL yesterday on my Naked ADSL service. Solid orange light on Orcon Genius. Checked with spare ADSL modem and no DSL lock on that either so seems to be a problem with the physical line or cabinet modem. I can't test for ring tone and noise etc as it us a naked DSL line.
I rang Manila CS and went through the usual script questions. Some odd phone line questions given its a naked DSL service but hey, just doing the script.
Its been raised to second tier support and 3 working days which is later next week.
Are there any engineering tests I can do on the line in the mean time? Should there be 50v there or is that not present on naked service?
Feeling cut off in Whenuapai with relying on my phone 2G data service :)
Any help appreciated guys.
PS tested at main jack point, no other connections, no filters.
