Hi all,
I have been an Orcon member for many years now - unlimited broadband etc... I changed earlier this year from normal (inc. phoneline) to naked broadband, no worries. Still had the same black sleek modem and worked fine; faultless 24/7 broadband. Then not long after the modem stopped working - didn't connect to the internet at all (referring to connection and lights on the modem). Very nicely the modem was replaced. However ever since then I have had multiple disconnects per day (as reported by Orcon at one stage 12 x disconnects in one day). Once again the modem was replaced (appreciated).
It is now months later and am still having the same issues, does anyone have an inkling of what is wrong? I don't get much satisfaction talking to Orcon support (especially after they attempted to invoice me for freight twice on faulty modems). Help is appreciated!
(Also, why does Orcon not phone anyone back... ever?)
