If so I would like to hear from you.

Doubly so if you are running freetz against the 7490.

It's a nicely implemented solution however there are a few issues I ran into.

The community is, unsurprisingly, mostly German and means unless you speak German you will often need to wade through poor machine translations to figure out what you need to do. Still, if you have a supported Fritzbox then I would definitely go for it.

The 7490 is not yet supported in the stable version. It is in the trunk version however right now the German version works fine but the English version doesn't - see http://www.ip-phone-forum.de/showthread.php?t=278117. Summary of that is it takes about 1 hour for the 7490 to start up when running Freetz.

I'm running the official firmware on my 7490 at the moment but will happily use Freetz once it reaches stable.

By the time the 7490 version is available we may not be able to use it and determine if any thing go's wrong what the issue is as they have disabled telnet as of firmware 6.30.
