Since yesterday wife's phone is not sending SMS with the error "service not activated on network".

Anyone else seeing this?

Interesting ... PM me her number and I'll have a look on the SMSC. Haven't seen that one before.

It seems the handset was trying to send these messages as MMS - and the account has just enough money put in for the packs, so MMS failed to send and Google Messenger showed a completely wrong/irrelevant error message.
