Is there any way to find out how much an account used for calls, data and SMS in total instead of an itemised list?

Also, the option to download usage is a bit useless as the file is a CSV instead of XLS - it's impossible to just create calculations there once you open it on Excel.

Yeah I agree the usage reporting  has always been bad.

With the csv, you could import into excel as a query so the data refreshes, leaving your calculations, rather than open.

hmm the csv dump is a bit crap as well.  Have to skip the first 10 rows.  MB is in it's own column which is good, but you can't total up the minutes used or a charged units columns for minutes as data sessions show up in both...so you'd need a selective sum where call type is call, excluding data use and text.

In the csv file, the from and end date format is mm/dd/yyyy, all others (including generated date) are dd/mm/yyyy.
They should be constant.

And you can't download more than 31 days of transactions.
