Hi Guys,

My sisters broadband connection with Orcon randomly stopped working..
DSL/Broadband sync light is solid green
PPP light is out.

-nothing on her setup was changed, it just randomly stopped working!

I got her to call the helpdesk and got her password reset.
Then I reset her modem (Thompson gateway I gifted her) and put the new password in.

Still cannot get PPP to come up.

Nothing unusual in the logs...

BIZARRE.

she's in Parnell...

I might go over tomorrow night with an Apple Airport or my old D-Link to swap out the router...
her router may have cooked itself, she had it on the carpet and the air vents were totally blocked (!)
