Hi There,

I'm hoping someone can please help me....

I am signed up directly to Netflix and am using it on my Apple TV. It shows what looks to be like the whole US catalogue but will only play the some titles. I get this error message come up when select a a majority of titles "This title is not available to watch instantly. Please try another title"

I share the Netflix account with my partner who also uses it on her Apple TV, her ISP is Vodafone and she sees what I can only assume is the NZ catalogue as has no issues playing any title but has far fewer titles than I do on my Apple TV.

Ideally we want to use the US catalogue on both Apple TVs (if possible) or fix my Apple TV so it only shows me the NZ catalogue. Nothing more frustrating than spending the time choosing a movie or TV show to watch and it saying "This title is not available to watch instantly. Please try another title" once you click play!

I have read a number of forums and have only confused myself as some mention changing the DNS on the Apple tv or the My Republic router, others mention a geo-blocker?

A few months back I signed up for the free trial of Netflix through the Apple TV/iTunes and had not troubles viewing any title and i'm pretty sure that was the US catalogue. I say this because I used to be able to watch House Of Cards and now I get that error message.

Please HELP!

Are you using a DNS service to get the US catalogue? Or does MyRepublic still have a Global Mode (didn't think they did)?

Not using a DNS service and I think you're right about MR's global mode

Sign up for a trial of one of the DNS services (I use Unotelly and it has worked perfectly), and see if that fixes it after putting their DNS addresses into the AppleTVs networking setup.
