I  have signed with 2degrees for UFF and have received the 2 degrees Fritzbox in the mail. I am currently with Slingshot but use my own modem with extenders in 2other areas in the house. I run my own freepbx system as well as a grandstream ATA for my alarms etc. Will i be able to program the fritzbox the same as other modems for port forwarding and fixed IP addresses for my various machines that require this? The modem did not come with a handbook. I am still a little way away from getting the service, scope visit done next week.
if I cant program the Fritzbox can i just run an ethernet cable into my existing modem and keep all the settings. That should work okay?

cheers

Yup!

It's a pretty easy box to work on, so no manuals really required for most stuff.

thanks for that. Can i get it programmed now to use the slingshot stuff so its all setup or do i have to wait. Where can i find the login IP for this. I usually change and use my own ip range, is this easy enough to do as well? Thanks for any help in advance.

cheers

It comes with good instructions. Yes you can plug it directly into your PC via Ethernet and set it up before you get anything else, just set your PC to DHCP.

A quick Googling session will help you out :-)

Their modems run the same version of software so if you can't find the exact model number (they have different models for regions) just pick something that looks similar.
