Anyone know how to do this?

I saw a previous post on this (http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?topicid=138362), which doesn't have an answer...  Turning off voicemail notifications doesn't disable missed calls texts.

I've called the 2D helpdesk, they told me to turn off VM notifications (doesn't work) and (second call) told me to text back to the message with "stop" (which, not surprisingly, doesn't work because the text appears to come from the caller).  I'm a bit over being on hold to not get the right answer, and figured someone here might be able to help :)

Anyone know how to disable this?  Many thanks.

Hi,

At present you can only disable 'Missed call' alert texts by calling 202 selecting option 3, option 2 which will also disable the 'Left Voicemail' messages.

Customers can turn off Voicemail so callers will connect and hear 'Voicemail is turned off' or we can remove the service for you if you call us on 200 or 0800 022022 or PM us your number and 4 digit PIN.

Here's more info on Voicemail - Help and support - Voicemail

Cheers

This isn't actually correct.

1. Disabling left voicemail texts has no impact on missed calls texts.  I spent some time this weekend testing it out - no effect.
2. I emailed support on this, and they replied saying that the outcome I want is only achievable through a tech effecting a change back-end, which they have asked for.  Apparently now I won't get missed call texts, but it's not a user-servicable function.
