This post suggests that they may have (finally) stopped supplying the Tripleplay, although the NF4V may be an "at additional charge" option.

The wireless side of the Tripleplay is very poor. I disabled it and added a TPLink wireless access point. Its way better than the Tripleplay.

They sent me an NF4V, it's OK but I ended up using a TP-Link WR1043ND with Gargoyle instead (not using the phone service so the VOIP didn't matter).

It's interesting that they are now supplying the Nf4V - having suffered from various problems with the Triple Play, I bought an NF4V today and got it working - except for voice.  I'm 99% sure that I copied all the settings correctly, and even a call to SS helpdesk, where they then remoted in and checked everything, didn't help - the voice line just shows as "down"

Has anyone got voice working on an NF4V on slingshot UFB?  Were there any obscure settings that needed to be made?  I've copied the SIP password from the saved config file, and SS conformed this was OK.

PS - I know there are several threads about this router, and I have read them all

Just bumping this thread...

I've had no luck getting the VOIP to work on the NF4V.  Slingshot tech support were as much use as a chocolate fireguard, hadn't heard of the NF4V which is really odd since they are now supplying it.  I extracted the VOIP password from my Tripleplay config backup, but the VOIP never registers.  Interestingly, if I use the same config details in a softphone on a PC, it connects to VOIP and I can make calls

So, does anyone here have a NF4V running on Slingshot UFB and supporting VOIP?  If so, would you be willing to share your config file (with passwords redacted)?  It would be great to get this device working

Hm, would like to keep an eye on this thread. I have just signed up for UFB and they sent me the Triple play (although i told them that I dont need the UFB router). I was hoping to use my existing DLink for the UFB (it was stated as UFB ready and I think it is definitely better than what we get from the telcos)

If you still have the Tripleplay and it was working fine then you need to extract ALL of the voice settings from it, both Basic and Advanced. I had the TP and replaced it with an NF4V and it worked fine and dandy when I took the settings from one to the other.

I am no longer with Slingshot but worse comes to worst I can try and hook the tripleplay back up to a machine and see if I can grab the settings for you.

Thank you, but I still have the TP and I think I have transferred all the settings - it is not a direct one to one mapping but I've done my best.  I'd also previously tried to configure a HG659 in the same way, with the same results.

The only other thing I thought of was whether I need to look at the firewall rules and make sure the same ports are open
