Hi all, trying to look at Boxing day deals on Noel Leeming's website but it won't load - it appears it's due to a DNS issue with Slingshot. Can anyone else confirm? Thanks :)

Site loads fine for me on Slingshot DSL.

Are you using a Tripleplay, by any chance? We had frequent DNS issues with the Tripleplay that went away when we switched to a different router.

Yes its been happening here for the last couple of weeks, its getting very annoying.
have been using the hola plugin set to usa to get various sites to work.

Thanks for the tip, I will try using google dns and see how that goes.

Thanks for the replies. It sounds like I should consider using perhaps Google's DNS servers, but running the namebench application suggests that it will cause a much larger delay with resolving DNS addresses compared to Slingshot's DNS servers. For now, I will see if the problem gets resolved hopefully soon.

I had this too..... with nf4v.... slingshot issue, just entered 8.8.8.8     then 8.8.4.4 haven't had issues since

Go to Control Panel>Network Connections and select your local network.
Click Properties,
then select Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
You will see a window like the one below - this is the Internet Protocol window.
Select "Use the following DNSserver addresses" and enter the desired DNSserver(s) in the space(s) provided.

Above average computer user .... as long as I have access to youtubtongue-out
