So, after this months topup (500MB) and bonus data (500MB) I have just over 8GB of data on my plan.
Of which 400MB will expire by the 25/1

My issue is - how do I use this data!
At home I have Unlimited Gigatown and at work I have access to the work WiFi. If I am not at home or work, my need to use the Internet is almost non existent.
At this stage I am not planning any road trips or nights away from home, and although I'll be heading overseas in May - my New Zealand data won't be any good to me over there.

I've tried streaming music during my 10-12 minute commute from home, but found it kept on cutting out

So, without wasting it (say by turning on Netflix, pressing play and walking away), how do you use your data up?
I suspect most people here will say their monthly allowance isn't enough.

You could try playing around with different augmented reality apps.  Like this one...

Not sure if you have Android or iPhone.

Start playing Ingress if you are on android.  That eats up your data pretty quick.

Downgrade your data plan a bit? Clearly over many months you're not even close to using what you're buying...

Heh - fair enough... I kinda had that thought after I posted but thought I'd leave it and see.

Personally I'd just let it expire and be happy that the cheapest plan works brilliantly for you :-)

I have a corporate plan through work with (I think) a nominal 4GB limit, but even with travelling for work occasionally and using the phone for personal use as well I usually use 1.xGB a month.

Cheers - N

My data balance with a 2 degrees $19 prepay carryover combo is currently 8980 MB. I never try to use up the expiring data. Nice just to know it was there if needed.
