I'm an existing Orcon UFB 30Mbps customer with the original black Orcon Genius. We've been a customer since UFB was available on the North Shore (2012?) VOIP experience has mostly been poor and our 'normal' phone access is a standing joke amongst friends and family to the point where they mostly txt or call mobile if they want to get hold of us. Black modem requires a reset about once a month.
So the question is, do we change to 100Mbps plan with a modem swap and brave the various issues people have faced or just change provider?
