So I have to cancel my UFB as we are moving to a new house. I see on the Orcon website you have to give 30 days notice.

My concern is that with all the horror stories I see on here that they will instantly cut me off when I call.

Are my concerns valid? Or will they cut it on the given date?

Are you cancelling the UFB service or can you transfer it to your new location?

Cancelling. No UFB at the new house yet.

We can get ADSL (yay) but deciding if we bother with copper or go for Skinny Broadband.

If we go for ADSL we will most likely be signing up with another ISP.

Hi there,

The stories you've been reading on this forum are more than likely related to the churn process - that is, changing from one provider to another at the same property. You're moving house, so this isn't applicable.

Call the team on 0800 56 46 87 and they can organise the cancellation for you.

Cheers,

Cam
