My problem is that the Battle.net app is supposed to log you into any games started by it.  The current behavior is that the games start without any of the app cached credentials being passed to the games, so I have to re-log into the games.  For those of us who use an authenticator (log story, hijacked account years ago), that gets annoying.  So I'd like the app to be able to pass the cached credentials to the games started through it.

I've been with Flip Unlimited Naked DSL for about a year.  When I was with BigPipe before, I didn't have any trouble with this.  I didn't have any trouble right after the move to Flip, but had some issues in the past few months, and it finally got to the point where it worked 0% of the time.  For unrelated reasons, I had to rebuild my PC, so I took the time to troubleshoot the problem with Battle.net tech support, and they are claiming the "not our fault" excuse.

So I'm on here to see if I'm alone with this problem, and if so, it's probably my router or PC.  Though the router has the basic-est of config, just enough to function. And was put in new, by me, after the move to Flip and before the problems started.  I use a TP-Link Archer D5.  And the PC has no software loaded that could interfere (no firewall or AV at the moment, being rebuilt just today).  So that makes the problem look more carrier related.  And in my search here, I found http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=147&topicid=113607 which indicates there's a "blocked" list for unlimited to enforce play-nice rules, though that's old, so no idea if it is still enforced.

Anybody else having battle.net problems?  Any other thoughts, suggestions?

Regards,

Marc

Works fine for me. Are you starting the Battle.net app with Admin privileges? Also, if you haven't recently, I would try changing your password. I know that Blizzard gets squirrelly when your IP address changes (though I doubt it will help).

Figured it out.  For some reason, my home network was no longer trusted, so windows firewall was silently turning itself on and blocking it. Yelled at Windows for a while "Bad OS, no biscuit for you" and all is good.
