As of late, my YouTube has been failing to stream HD video at fast enough speeds, while SD video can bench at 50Mbps (according to the YouTube "stats for nerds" option in the right click menu).

Sometimes something as simple as my phone pulling updates from their services has interrupted my ability to stream as well, None of these were maxing my old ADSL connection (speed test remained unaffected), or my new 90Mbps VDSL connection.

Snap had their own YouTube server, and the google.co.nz domain is a mere 4ms away, so I assume its atleast close by, but I assume its still in side their data center.

So I'm left wondering what is causing this...

Yes,

I may have fixed the issue, I disabled QUIC and now YouTube hasn't messed up, But I worry that my phone causing interference could be related for the same reasons, will investigate further.
