Everything works fine but a couple of hours ago we now cannot full facebook access but everything else works, this occurs regardless whether of browser or device or os !

I have managed to login to the mobile site but thats it

Is MR having some strange facebook routing issue ?

I even reset the router

If someone else can confirm their fb works on mr that would be appreciated

Are you using their DNS servers?

I'm having issues with Myrepublic from Rangiora this morning. I can't access Facebook and other sites such as CBS, ABC, Huffington Post, Fox News. Seems to be US based sites. NZ and UK sites appear ok.

Any help would be appreciated as it it's impossible to get hold of anyone at Myrepublic.

Thanks in advance.

FYI MR got back to me at 11.59am this morning with te following:

"Sorry we didn't answer your call unsure emoticon Yes, we're just having an issues with our DNS server at the moment but if you use other DNS settins, like Google's, your connection should work fine"

Myrepublic acknowledges the DNS issue here on their network status page

Thanks. Got the same email eventually. Could be wrong but i think Google DNS slows speed down a bit so hopefully they can resolve their issues soon

Hi, have the same problem from Auckland. Am with MyRepublic and can't load Facebook from desktop or Android Phone web browser. Can load using Facebook Android App but sometimes some of the pictures do not load or the videos either are slow to load or do not load.

I switched my connection to my Vodafone mobile network via my Android phone and could load Facebook via bothe desktop and Android phone.

I also have trouble loading an Android app called Star Wars Commander. It can load with Vodafone mobile network.
