Just looking at a friends Fritz!Box and noticed this - he doesn't have a number provisioned.
Anyone know what is causing this to occur?

I thought that but there doesn't actually appear any way to turn this all off - guess it is time he grabs a better router.

Hey Michael,
Could be worth making sure that box is on the latest firmware (06.30 or higher), and maybe even give it a factory reset to be safe :)
Cheers

This may help : http://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/change-default-port-fritzbox/ - the first bit would be the important one. Use some random high port IMO if you want to effectively disable SIP. Or try removing the lines altogether...

Yes, that is completely normal. It is the 2Degrees TR-069 remote management server connecting to check on the box. It is normally not actually changing any settings, but if there are any new being propogated settings, that is when they get changed. On my FritzBox, it happens about every 22 hours.
Been discussed before:

I stopped investigating at the time, because for me the issues only occurred on ADSL/VDSL connections and not UFB. It even occurred when using the router on another ISP, but when I switched to UFB it fixed itself.
Still don't know the root cause of this issue.

Hi Graymond,
That is completely normal, that is your device successfully checking back with our systems once daily making sure there isn't any new configuration available for it. This is used to make sure you have the right settings for your internet and phone connection, and helps us to troubleshoot if you are having issues.
Thanks,
