I'm currently on (since early May 2015) the $49.95 Pay Monthly plan - 24 month term, plus paying my Galaxy S6 off over that 24 monthly term, and I have the $10/month TradeUp option (which is zero rated for the first year).
I see there is a current promo for the $69.95 plan at only $59.95 per month for 12 months, which I am very keen on as it includes Neon.
As of early May, if I do not cancel the Trade Up option, I will be eligible for a new phone.
Now the questions...
If I take up the TradeUp offer and get a new phone, will I stop being charged for the Galaxy S6 and will instead be charged a new monthly rate for whatever new phone I get? And will this also be interest free? OR do I have to pay the outstanding balance of what is owed on the Galaxy S6? (My clear understanding at the time of moving onto my existing plan with TradeUp was that I would hand back my S6, they would hand me an S7 and I would be paying a new interest free rate on the new phone - and that would be the only difference)
Is there any issue with me upgrading to the $69.95 Pay Monthly plan, and can I do this at any time or am I best waiting until early May? Will the term remain the same 24 months (expiring May 2017) or will it be a new term (12 months at $59.95, then 1 month at $69.95 OR 12 months at $59.95, then 12 months at $69.95)?
And as an existing customer, am I even eligible for this special pricing on the $69.95 Pay Monthly plan?
Will I loose any carry over data I have when I upgrade plans?
Will I be eligible for any other extras being offered with the new phone - at the moment I think it is an extra 6Gb of data. (last time I missed out on hundreds of dollars of free stuff by a week when I did this so I am very mindful of that)
Will 2degrees let you stand in store and do a phone-to-phone upgrade?
