Orcon ADSL in Mt Eden

Tried rebooting modem several times, and laptop. Almost like I am capped at between 12-16 kb/s. Sometimes pages time out. Has been slow since morning.

Still well within monthly quota.

Anyone else experiencing the same? Has been fine until now.

Problem solved. I swapped out the Orcon modem for an old one I had in storage (BiPAC 7800DXL) - humming along now!

Maybe too many wifi users on the old supplied modem? Weird.

More than likely congested upload. If your upload is congested then downloads will be affected too.
