I'm trying to transfer from the $49 plan to the $29 plan online, but there is no option to do so - I can only downgrade to the $39 plan.

Does anyone know why?

Hi, we don't have that facility to downgrade to the $29.95 plan online via Your 2degrees - https://secure.2degreesmobile.co.nz/web/ip/login, you need to call us on 0800 022022 or 200 from your 2degrees phone. Alternatively PM us your mobile number and 4 digit PIN.

Cheers

OK Thanks.

Is this a bit sneaky - hoping customers will just settle for the $39 plan cos we cant be bothered ringing the 0800 number?

Really inconvenient I have to say, all options for end/switch at end of current month should be available online. Saves the time ringing, + there's the certainty (false sense of security it may be) of seeing the options/flag in my account myself vs trusting a voice on the line.
