What's 2degree's broadband early termination fee? I still have like 5 months under contract, and I'm having problem viewing 2degree website, keep showing 'Your connection is not secure' :/

https://www.2degreesmobile.co.nz/termsofuse/broadband/broadband/2degrees-broadband-plan-terms-and-conditions/

"If you leave a fixed term Plan before the end of the term, you agree to pay an early termination charge of $249, which covers the costs of the connection and modem."

Is the rest of the internet working fine apart from their homepage?

Terminating your connection because you're having trouble accessing the 2 degrees management portal is pretty extreme. How about you post about the problem you're having and try to solve that? The portal appears secure for me, on my 2degrees fiber connection and from my work Vodafone connection. Post some screen shots and URLs.

No, that's different. That concerns a missing forward, not a security problem.

Ok. It's a fairly imprecise, ambiguous post.

Just call 2 degrees. They're pretty good at answering the phone.

you should call and check as the ETC may be higher than what the webpage says if you were initially on SNAP when you signed up, i.e you are less than 1 year on a 2 year snap contract,

ive asked before in this scenario and they wanted the ETC from the original Snap Plan not the ETCs as they are now / shown on the webpage since they changed to 2degrees

Hi Bunky,

Sorry to see you are looking to leave, if there is anything we can help with, feel free to message us, we'd hate to see you go.

One thing to note, as Dan points out above, if you signed up with Snap and are still on a retired Snap Plan, then the old Snap Ts and Cs (now renamed as the Retired Plan Ts and Cs) will still apply to you.

Thanks,

Ralph ^JOB

Thanks for the reply, I have no problem with current service at all, happy customer for years. UFB is available in my area now, and for free installation and modem I'll have to sign 1 year contract, so I need to make that decision which isp to go to for UFB, and spark's new offer is very tempting, lightbox + 1gb a day wifi, unless 2degree can come up with something as competitive in the next few months, I don't see myself staying with 2degrees cry

Hey Bunky,

If you are already with us, there's no need to sign on to a new contract at all, you can simply request an upgrade to UFB through Your 2degrees and we'll get everything underway for you.

Thanks

Ralph ^JOB

Without new contract, I'll have to pay for the modem + installation + shipping, which add up to $263, that's about the same as early termination fee.

BTW I'm still having trouble browsing 2degrees website on my computer, FF & chrome, I can only go on to the 2D website from my phone.
